Tinsukia Commercial Institute is a Typing, Shorthand, and Computer training institute located in the heart of Tinsukia, a city in the northeastern state of Assam, India. The institute is situated at A.T. Road, Opp Kali Bari, Tinkonia, Tinsukia (Assam) - 786125, and is owned and managed by Mr. Umesh Sharma. The institute has been providing quality education and training in typing, shorthand, from 1967 and computer from 2024. The primary objective of Tinsukia Commercial Institute is to empower students with the necessary knowledge and skills required to meet the demands of the modern workplace. The institute offers a range of courses and training programs that cater to the needs of students from various backgrounds and skill levels. The courses offered at the institute include Typing, Shorthand, Computer Fundamentals, MS Office, Tally, Desktop Publishing, Internet and Email, and Programming languages like C, C++, and Java. The Typing course at Tinsukia Commercial Institute is designed to teach students touch typing, which is the ability to type without looking at the keyboard. The course covers keyboard basics, hand positioning, finger placement, and typing techniques that help students increase their typing speed and accuracy. Students are trained on English, Assamese, and Hindi typing, depending on their preference.
